  This place is one of few in the Ballston neighborhood. I lived across the street in the AVA building and it was truly a "convenient" store when I had late night cravings, or even felt the urge to treat the leasing staff at AVA. The cashiers are nice enough as a gas station attendant. One even lived in near my hometown in Florida, so we connected off of that. These poor reviews do not reflect the foot traffic / convenience of this gas station. Overall, this gas station is a good / safe one to use.

  Terrible experience. If you have a chip card, help yourself and use it outside for the gas. The chip function is not working on the card readers. Beware that the cashier guy will get angry if you accidentally pressed the debit entry and you had a credit card. Also make sure to swipe it 3 times if you plan to shop inside due to the bad credit card readers. Such a shame.
